I USA har det diskuterats ganska flitigt kring det här programmet och dess musik. Laget heter Soul5 och temat är gospel. De har flera ställen i programmet som har med religion att göra (korset i början och dansen t.ex.) och i musiken säger de till exempel "God loves winners". Många i USA tycker att det är för mycket, vad tycker ni? Får man ha ett religöst tema på musik/program? Märk väl att California Allstars är ett religöst gym.
